Wilsthorpe School joins The Two Counties Trust

Wilsthorpe School in Long Eaton, Derbyshire has today announced that it is joining successful local multi-academy trust, The Two Counties Trust. The news has received widespread support from parents, students, staff and the local community in Long Eaton.

The Trust consists of like-minded schools that share a passion for working in partnership to improve the quality of provision and outcomes for all their learners through focusing on school improvement. The Trust now consists of eight schools, each of whom retain their own unique identity – Wilsthorpe will continue to build on its positive community links, as well as working in collaboration with the Trust and the other seven schools.

The Two Counties Trust champions the academic achievement and all-round development of all 8,500 young people it serves. It is determined to be a Trust that makes a real and valuable difference, both inside the classroom and beyond. The Trust’s vision for the school is for its students to have access to the highest academic, social and practical skills required to fulfil their potential.
